  • How is Fair Market Value Calculated?

    For you to figure out about how much you will receive for an item, you can look for items that have recently sold, and subtract about 15-20% to find the Fair Market Value.

    For us to calculate the Fair Market Value it is much more complicated. There are a large number of factors that impact the value of a piece of equipment. From location, failure rate, cosmetic condition, taxes, returns, shipping, quantity, market.

  • How Long Does Equipment Processing Take?

    It depends on a number of factors including size, location, customer retirement requirements. We can always provide a clear expectation per batch. But we generally can promise 21 business days unless there are exceptional outlier circumstances.

  • Data Destruction Certifications

    Mango offers all major data destruction certifications and can provide them in most regions around the world. Standard DOD, NIST_____ is included in the retirement of any equipment with internal storage and comes with the associated Certificate of Data Destruction. While other providers have hidden fees when it comes to data sanitization, Mango understands that it an essential service for any company doing business today. So we just include it!

    We also offer a variety of paid data security services, including on-site data destruction, drive shredding, and are compliant with regional requirements for banks, hospitals and other high information security fields.

  • How is My Return Credit Calculated?

    Mango is the market leader when it comes getting our clients the most for their equipment. While some competitors claim ratios higher than ours, the truth is they bury you in secret fees. We prefer to keep things upfront and with no hidden costs.

    Mango Provides a 60/40 split with our clients.

    Mango provides credit for all equipment that maintains a current Fair Market Value (FMV) over $100. That is to say, if we were to receive a computer from your organization with a $100 FMV, you would receive a credit of $60.

  • Cancellations

    We require 24 hour written notice for any cancellation or rescheduling, or a $500 fee is incurred.
